The Infinite Endless Vault is the version 1.0 postgame in Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. It unlocks after the main story and turns the merchant loop into increasingly difficult gold thresholds that must be completed in one run.
How the Endless Vault works
The launch announcement describes an endless series of increasingly difficult thresholds. Each threshold must be completed in a single run, and failing to reach its required amount of gold resets progress for that threshold. Partial gold progress does not bank between attempts.
What the Vault rewards
The confirmed reward categories are equipment, shop upgrades, decorations and cosmetics. The announcement does not publish a threshold count, exact gold target, scaling formula or final depth, so a guide should not fill those fields with a guessed number.
- Unlock: complete the main story.
- Run rule: each threshold is completed in one run.
- Failure: falling short of the gold requirement resets that threshold.
- Rewards: equipment, shop upgrades, decorations and cosmetics.
A safe first attempt
Treat the first run as a route test. Record the vault stage, relic categories, backpack pressure, shop return decision and gold target shown by the build. Push only as far as you can extract without turning a valuable haul into an avoidable reset.
