Launch-day updateMoonlighter 2 Characters: Will, Tresna and the Named Cast
This page lists only characters that official Digital Sun / 11 bit studios posts name directly: the launch announcement, the August 5 pre-launch post, and the September 10 Hotfix 1 notes. Moonlighter 2 has not had a first-party full cast list published, so where a character’s role is not documented, this page says so instead of guessing.

Will — the player character
Will is the merchant-dungeoner you play, and version 1.0 is built around finishing his arc: the launch post describes "the conclusion of the main story" that brings "Will’s journey in Tresna to its conclusion." Hotfix 1 confirms he is still the only player character by fixing spearhead projectiles that froze "when reaching Will."
Tresna — the town
Tresna is the settlement the whole loop runs on: the launch post frames the whole adventure as exploring Tresna and the vault beneath it, and Hotfix 1 fixes a tutorial freeze "when returning to Tresna," confirming it as the hub you move between dungeon runs.
The Tresna vendors
- Andrei — the Forge; crafts and upgrades weapons and armor.
- Eris — the Witch Hut; potions, health, perk unlocks, and riddles pointing to hidden weapons.
- Babyl — the Workshop; guns and gadgets, and the Gallery Boss Rush.
- Spark — the Version 1.0 endgame merchant, reached through Babyl.
- Ms. Scratch — landlady; shop-level upgrades and cosmetics.
- Tomo — Trade Research; relic quality, Double Chests, and the Gallery-opening quest.
- The Countess — Homeware; showcases and furniture that raise sell prices.
- Julien — Tailoring; backpack patches, and the Aeolia Boss Rush.
- Sliver — Empty Pockets; backpack capacity and the Greed Colosseum.
- Nou and Anacard — Silent Exchange; swap miniboss materials for boss materials.
- K33P3R — Merchant Progression; permanent shop bonuses and Haggle customers.
- Hazy Jane — pet seller; Bloblet adoption (listed as Zane Jane in some guides).
What is not documented
The official posts do not publish character bios, dialogue trees, quest-giver roles beyond the vendor names above, or a complete cast list. The Codex added in version 1.0 covers "enemies, characters, perks and furniture" in-game, but its text is not published online, so this page does not reproduce it. Expect this list to grow as Digital Sun names more characters in patch notes.
