Moonlighter 2 Boss Completion Guide: How to Track Progress

Moonlighter 2’s Steam achievement data provides a useful completion signal for bosses, while the public store material does not provide a complete boss route, health table or universal weapon recommendation. Track each named encounter with the same versioned method.

Separate boss completion from the main story

A boss defeat can be a story milestone, a Steam achievement, an Endless Vault test or a personal route objective. Log which kind it is. Completing the main story does not automatically prove that every postgame challenge or named encounter is complete.

The checklist fields that matter

For each boss, record the displayed name, location or dungeon label, weapon and relic setup, whether the run was normal or Hardcore, and the date or version. Add the reward only after it is visible in the build.

Avoid a fake best-build answer

The launch data confirms weapons, armor, gadgets and village upgrades as progression categories, but it does not publish a complete boss weakness or damage ranking. Test one variable at a time and describe a build as suitable for a specific encounter rather than universally best.
