There is no official damage table that proves one Moonlighter 2 weapon is universally best. Version 1.0 does name four Endless Weapon Aspects and describes what each special does, which is enough to choose by playstyle without inventing a tier list.
The four confirmed Endless Weapon Aspects
The launch build names Endless Short Sword, Endless Great Sword, Endless Spear and Endless Gauntlets. They are aspects for existing weapon classes, not a published list of four new base weapon categories.
- Short Sword: a multi-hit piercing special whose strike count rises with your combo.
- Great Sword: a defensive stance that blocks attacks, raises Sharpness, then counterattacks.
- Spear: consumes stored spearheads and empowers basic attacks for a limited time.
- Gauntlets: attacks become significantly more powerful while Berserk is active.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Short Sword if you can keep a combo alive, Great Sword if you prefer a defensive opening, Spear if you already manage stored spearheads, and Gauntlets if your build reliably activates Berserk. Those are role recommendations from the published effects, not damage rankings.
What the public data does not give you
No official source tracked here publishes base damage, Sharpness values, exact hit counts, Berserk multipliers or a complete acquisition route. A real best-weapon test should name the version, weapon level, perk path, enemy, relics and shop state before comparing results.
